Matcha Latte

For those of you who know me personally or follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love my matcha latte. It’s an essential part of my morning routine. Some of you might be asking yourself, What the heck is matcha?!

Matcha is green tea leaves, ground into a fine powder. It has a ton of health benefits and it makes you feel amazing!!! Some of the health benefits include, cancer prevention, boosts metabolism and helps burn fat, promotes mental clarity and concentration to name a few. My favorite thing about matcha is the boost of steady energy and cognitive enhancement I feel after drinking it. If you’re trying to kick your coffee habit, try switching to matcha! Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk, or plant-based milk of your choice

  • 1 tbsp ceremonial grade matcha powder, I like this one

  • 1 tbsp coconut butter

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice

Method

Steam the milk and then add it to a highspeed blender with the matcha, coconut butter, cinnamon, and honey. Blend for 15-30 seconds and then pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
